Come bookstagram with me

My 18-yr-old son and I are starting a book tradition. We both love reading, shopping for, and buying books. But new books are expensive. We can't just go buy them whenever.⁣ ⁣ We decided to go together to the book store the second month of each quarter. We each pick out a book to read during that month, then we swap and read each other's picks the next month. We get to build our collections and read books together. Definite bonus points for someone to discuss the books with.⁣ ⁣ We made up a few rules:⁣ -No self-help books⁣ -No book we know the other person would definitely not enjoy.⁣ -No picking from the same genre in a row.⁣ -It can be something we've already read if it's been a while.⁣ ⁣ Here's our first duo. He picked Pride and Prejudice. "I can't pick romance again next quarter," he said. "I was sure that would be me," I answered. ⁣ ⁣ Q: If you could only buy one book at the bookstore this month, what would it be?⁣ ⁣ #amreading #bookclub #family #books #prideandprejudice #anthem #janeaustin #aynrand
Even the leaves don't change all at once. #amwriting #amtrying
